Presenting the:
Lamplighter Touring Choir
of

Waynesburg, Pennsylvania

The Waynesburg University Touring Choir is comprised of 29 members including Waynesburg University faculty and students under the direction of Anne Phipps, instructor of music at Waynesburg University and director of the Lamplighter Touring Choir. The Choir performs a wide range of pieces both classic and contemporary.

On Tuesday evening, May 6th, 2008, we had the priviledge of being
visited by the Lamplighter Touring Choir at the Timber Lodge. These
are truly remarkable, talented young adults. We only got a chance to
hear a few of their selections since they were "taking a break".
What we did hear was awesome, to say the least.

Afterwards, several of them joined us in some good old fashioned
Gospel songs, Bluegrass style. It was one of those nights you wish
could go on forever. No one got tired of playing or singing.
However, the Choir did have other commitments the next day.

A big THANK YOU to all those beautiful people in the Choir.
And to Anne Phippes. May God Bless all of you!
